As you may know, a portion of profits of Narrow Bridge Candles go to the Stop the Jewish National Fund (JNF) Campaign. In 2013 I had the honor of participating in the 4th Annual Plant-a-Tree in Palestine Delegation- a collaboration of the Middle East Children's Alliance (MECA), the International Jewish Anti-Zionist Network (IJAN), the Palestinian Farmers Union, Stop the Wall Grassroots Anti-Apartheid Wall Campaign and the Stop the JNF Campaign. On the Plant-a-Tree Delegation, we witnessed and documented the role of the JNF in the historic and ongoing colonization of Palestine, connected with organized resistance to the JNF on the ground, and learned from many people and organizations about the ongoing impact of the JNF. In meeting with people in Palestine, I learned first-hand how important an International movement in support of Palestinian self determination is. Planting olive trees in Palestinian villages targeted by the JNF deepened my commitment to working for a free Palestine and for the repair of harm done by the JNF.
Let me know if you would like to be involved with this organizing, participate in future delegations, be added to the campaign mailing list, or be connected with people in your area who are working to confront the Jewish National Fund. Go to Stop the JNF Campaign website to watch a short video about the delegation and the Stop the JNF Campaign.
If you would like to purchase an olive tree to be planted in the honor of a loved or a life cycle event (or anything else!) you can do so at MECA's Plant-a-Tree in Palestine site.
The work of the campaign continues to grow- I'm excited to share it with you.

I am so happy to be ordering from this site. One thing—it would be great if you could hook up a way for us to order menorahs and candleabras from artisans who support justice. So many menorahs are made in Israel. I have not encountered any others.
