"This year we celebrate bold leaps and creative strategies for these times of drastic change. As we made this calendar, messages kept coming from the deep past and the deep future—messages of hope and encouragement. In evolutionary theory, a hopeful monster is a creature who harbors a radical mutation that is adapted not for its present environment but for a possible future one.
The hopeful monsters in this year’s calendar are survivors and symbionts, leaping and longing. They invite you to stay active in shaping a strange and beautiful future.
We all know that time is not a line but a circle.
We have no idea where we’re going.
Meet us in this timeline."
Calendars are 9×12”, with saddle stitch binding, printed on high quality coated paper. Each calendar comes shrink-wrapped with a piece of chipboard.
