“Bisamim” translated literally to mean “spices” is the sweet smell so important to the observance of Havdallah at the end of Shabbat on Saturday evening. I’m having so much fun drying organic Meyer lemon peel and lemon balm, and smelling the intoxicating fragrance of lemon verbena.
