This Holy Broken World - a guide to counting the omer through grief, joy and resistance
Counting the Omer is a 49 day practice starting the second night of Passover. This guide is made to support you in this mystical practice of connecting with the divine, the world, and ourselves, whether it’s your first time or your fortieth time. It includes an introduction to how to count the Omer, the count for the days in English and transliterated Hebrew, and reflections for each day connecting with its teachings and themes.
May the count of the Omer support each of us in showing up for the heartbreaks and joys of our daily lives and the wider world. May it connect us to the mysterious, infinite support that is always available. May the magic of this practice help us get free, and help us stand and risk together so that we may all get free.
All funds from the sale of this zine will go toward Mohammed and family’s continued survival in Gaza - they so appreciate your support!
