This is a hand poured candle in glass. It will burn about 30 hours continuously. Longer if extinguished and re-lit.
The image on this candle shows a woman lighting Shabbes candles. It was published in Amsterdam in 1707 in a book by Solomon ben Joseph Proops called Minhagim - Hebrew for "customs".
The text surrounding the image comes from a tkhine, Yiddish for "prayer" or "supplication" about candle making and burning. Calligraphy by Rabbi Ariana Katz.
translation: May you speedily accept the prayers which are said by the light of these candles, for we pray with complete intention and sincerity.
